Bioblitz Open Day

 

Join us for our Bioblitz Open Day on Saturday 30th May a gathering of ecology and art, with walks, talks and stories

Hosted by the Moor Wild

 at Sunnybank, St Breward, PL304LP,

from 10- 4pm

there will be butterfly walks, and a wide range  of nature themed activities.

Taking part….

·      Nick Taylor, an outstanding ecologist, teacher and craftsman, will be leading the Bioblitz and holding moth, butterfly and bug identification with characteristic curiosity and enthusiasm.

Rose Martin will be doing an experimental clay firing, folllowing her two day free workshop on the 8th and 9th of May

·      Tim Hutton will assemble the Camera Obscura after its recent refurbishment.

·      Susan Samm will be holding storytelling sessions for all ages.

·      Alan Stapleton and Butterfly Conservation Cornwall will be with us to share their knowledge about managing land for butterfly conservation.

·      Jo Best will be running the cake and coffee stand.

·  Moor Wild will be talking about local conservation projects and opportunities to get involved.

St Breward Primary School will have an exhibition of work made in the woods with botanist/artist Jennie Hale
